Wordless Wednesday: Shenandoah National Park

Friends at Big Devils Stairs Overlook

A pause to take in the view and refuel

Waterfall along White Oak Canyon

Another lovely view, only slightly hazy

What kind of snake is it? All our nature nerds were left guessing.

An old stone wall, built by hand

  4. Gorgeous. Quick question though. How far away is that? Could I do it as a day trip with the kids?

  6. Snake looks like a water moccasin to me. I might be wrong. It has the viper type head. I would not like to be bitten by that creature. I rarely see copperheads on my running route, though i do see black snakes that like to do rattlesnake impressions.

  8. Hi!

I'm Megan Rechin, co-founder of HealthRally, a new software company focused on health motivation.

We are looking for beta testers who want to inspire a friend or family member to reach a new health goal. Sign in and try it here:

    http://alpha.healthrally.com/signin

We'd like you to set up a rally for a friend and give us feedback on your experience before we bring it to the public later this year.

To start a rally to inspire a friend you just choose their goal (e.g run a race, lose weight, quit smoking), select an exciting reward (iPad, spa day, charity), and then build a team of supporters who will help support and inspire them.

    Thanks!

    Megan
